Researchers in Japan revealed this week that they have formed cohesive functioning brain tissue from stem cells.
“The researchers at the Riken Center for Developmental Biology in Kobe said their new tissues are able to self-organize into four distinct zones very similar to the structure seen in human fetuses, and conduct neuro activity such as transmitting electrical signals among themselves.”
What I found fascinating about this development is that the tissues self-organized into a structure seen in human fetuses. On May 27, in my blog post, Is Your Mind Making a Monkey of You?, I wrote about thought originating from the dan tian and not the brain. The lower dan tian corresponds to very beginning of human life. It is intriguing that the stem cells self-organized into four distinct zones. In the early development stage of life, in the first two weeks, the heart, brain, spinal cord and gastrointestinal tract begin to form. These are the four neural crests that also correspond to the main qi centers and meridians in the body. In the second to sixth week of life, neurogenesis begins with brain activity and a heart beat apparent by the sixth week.
For the first time, scientists have an inside look at the genesis of life and the very beginnings of qi functioning (neuro activity and electrical signals).

What are memories? What do they have to do with health and healing? Is there a connection? Beyond that is there a connection to memory, health and forgiveness?
Memories are stored in the cells of your body, all the cells of your body. Your body is the memory bank of your life. The brain is the chemical switching station. Think of the brain like a busy train station, trains coming and going constantly day and night. The chemicals in your body are the trains; they carry needed supplies throughout the body and aid in waste removal.
Cellular memory is a phenomenon that came to light with the advent of organ transplants. Organ recipients were reporting stories of liking foods they hadn’t before. They were drawn to interests and activities that hadn’t been of interest prior to the transplant. They also reported having memories of the person whose organ they had received.
Early in transplant history, doctors tried to come up with explanations for these phenomena. In the end, it is the recipients themselves and their stories that have shed light on the fact that our bodies are memory banks. Prior to this, it was assumed that memories were stored in the brain. Somehow, there were unique little places in the brain where all memories were stored. We now know this isn’t totally true. Of all that grey matter sitting up there, we only use about 10% or less. Wouldn’t it be intriguing to find out what the rest of it is used for?
But let’s get back to cellular memory. Many cultures, including ancient cultures, hold a tradition of bodily resurrection. The flip side of this belief is that of reincarnation, where the body is continually reborn. Whichever you believe, the fact that memories are stored at a cellular level doesn’t change.
Let’s examine this a little deeper. If memories are stored in your cells then when you have children it is conceivable that you are passing your memories, at the cellular level (or at least some of them), to your children. Your children in turn would pass along some or all of the memories they received from you as well as their own memories to their children, and so on down the genealogic line.
This progressive passage of cellular memory could be an explanation for what people report as being reincarnation. Somehow, they have accessed deep cellular memories of their ancestors that are so real to them it is as if they have lived the life of their ancestor. This is just my theory.
There are many forms of memories. Memories are created chemically. Trauma creates cellular memory. General injury, something as simple as a cat scratch, creates cellular memory. Feelings and emotions associated with every-day events create cellular memory – events such as a birthday, being with someone, and watching a child’s accomplishment. What makes the memory is the emotion associated with the event or feeling. Every emotion has a chemical co-responder. Emotion is the spiritual connection to the physical. Emotions are stored chemically in your cells, and they stay there until released.
There are emotions that we consider “good” – such as joy, happiness, excitement, elation – and emotions that we consider as “bad” – such as anger, resentment, worry, feeling hurt, and guilt.
The chemical reactions associated with stress are also stored at the cellular level in your body. Stress is now widely recognized as the leading cause of all illness and the cause of upwards of 90% of doctor visits annually.
Can you imagine what a different world it would be if you and those around you could learn to reduce and eliminate the effects of stress on your body?
There are techniques you can learn and do that will reduce the effects of stress, stimulate your immune system to respond better, and help your body to heal itself.
Some of the techniques that can be used to release emotion and the effects of stress from your body right down to the cellular level include Qi Gong (literally energy work), EFT (Emotion Freedom Technique), and applied kinesiology. These three techniques are in the realm of energy work or body work. They use the flow of universal energy and the energy meridians in your body to release stress allowing the body to heal itself naturally.
The body was actually designed to maintain itself. It is capable of maintaining health. The cells in your body are constantly reproducing, right down to the memories that are stored in them. If cell deterioration and cell death were eliminated, there would be no disease and no aging as we know it today. In fact, when you are experiencing disease or illness, it is your body’s way of telling you that something isn’t in harmony – emotionally, physically or mentally – your body’s energy is unsynchronized. When balance and harmony are restored, the body can and does heal itself.
There is another technique, a spiritual technique, that has the same effect of releasing memory at the cellular level – it is Forgiveness. When you forgive, it is as if the experience never happened. It ceases to exist right down to the cellular level. This is the unique power of Forgiveness.
You have only truly forgiven when the event, the memory, ceases to exist. It is as if it never was in the first place.
It is equally as important to Forgive Yourself as it is to Forgive others. If something happened that you hold yourself accountable for and can’t let it go, recognize that whatever it was is in the past, the past is not now unless you re-create it every day by not letting go. It is okay to Forgive Yourself. It is okay to love yourself and be present with yourself in this moment. With this understanding, healing can begin.
This is why forgiveness is so crucial to health and healing. If you haven’t forgiven, there is still a memory somewhere in your cells that is out of harmony. As long as those memories remain, your body is in a state of disharmony, and it can’t heal itself.
I’m going to take this one step further to inherited disease. When your body is in such a state that disease has become manifest, let’s say heart disease just as an example, those cellular memories get passed along to your children. This is why doctors say that certain diseases run in a family or are inherited. You are only inheriting the genetic expression of the cells’ DNA that was known from before.
I am going to go out on a limb here and make the claim that inherited disease can be eradicated if you erase the memory of the disease at the cellular level. It is as if it never happened. This may seem far-fetched and heretical but science is actually beginning to prove this. I am working on a special report that goes into this in much greater detail.
Imagine a world without illness or disease! It would be like a utopia. How long do you think people would live? Cells continually regenerate. The Judeo-Christian Bible says that after the flood, God limited the age of man to 120. There is one person alive today who is reported to be 120, and the oldest person ever recorded was Jeanne Calment who died in 1997 at the age of 122. Of note, the person who is 120 and still alive is a Bedouin woman living in northern Israel. She attributes her age and good health to her diet which is predominantly vegetarian.

According to Dictionary.com, health is the general condition of the body or mind regarding soundness and vigor; vitality; freedom from disease or ailment.
The word “health” comes from the Old English meaning “whole.” So to be in a state of good health is to be in a state of wholeness. You are whole, complete, perfect. Vitality and vigor pertain to life.
Wellness is the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as the result of deliberate effort; it is an approach to healthcare that emphasizes preventing illness and prolonging life, as opposed to an emphasis on treating disease (the symptom) (emphasis mine).
Well-being as defined by WordNet is a contented state of being happy, healthy and prosperous.
It is interesting to note most definitions of well-being include prosperity. Prosperity is a natural state, a divine state, of abundance, and abundance only exists in the universe. Anything less than abundance is a perception.
Well (an adverb) is a gerundive of the verb To Be.
A gerund is a word form derived from a verb used as a noun, i.e. “The saying goes…”; a gerundive is a word derived from an adverbial form used as a noun, i.e. to be, I AM.
Therefore, “well” is an adverbial form of “to be” used as a noun, i.e., “The well-being of the children is at stake.”
Correctly, when speaking of health and someone asks you, “How are you today?” the proper response would be, “I am well.” Well is the verb descriptor (adverb) describing the verb To Be (I am). Somehow, in the last 25 – 30 years, western society (at least in America) has lost this. Speech has a much deeper meaning than we are aware of. Words particularly are very important. This thought alone should be enough for us to take care to guard our speech and think before we speak.
The etymology of “well” is particularly interesting because of it being an adverbial form of “BE.” To be = I am, you are, he/she/it is… I AM is the creator of all that is (see blog post I WILL BE That I WILL TO BE). Therefore, you are of I AM, you are an intrinsic part of I AM. You are not separate from the “whole” of I AM. Remember “health” is wholeness, not just wholeness of your individual body but “wholeness” as it pertains to the “whole” of creation.
This is a vital clue, a change in perception, that will totally change your “well-being.”

Does anxiety create blocks in your vital life force?
Energy flows naturally. Think about the physical reactions you feel in your body when you have anxiety. Your throat might get constricted. You might feel knots in your stomach. You might even be overcome by the stronger emotion of fear.
All of these emotions are low frequency emotions, and because they cause constriction, they block the flow of energy.
It is possible to get past these emotions and move into higher frequency emotions.
When you are experiencing anxiety, worry or fear, helplessness or hopelessness, try to keep in mind as you are experiencing this that it will pass. If you focus on moving through it to a higher frequency emotion, that focus, intention, will guide you through. It is important to stay focused on it or the negative emotion can drag you down further.
Women especially experience these types of cyclical emotions around their monthly cycle. Your body is signaling you that your hormones are out of balance, another sign of energy blocks.
When you are experiencing these negative emotions, it also helpful to find the brightest, most positive thoughts you can think of, the things that inspire you or the things that you dream and hope of. All of these cause your focus level to raise to inspiration and aspiration, higher frequencies that can pull you up faster.
Nature walks, outdoor places that comfort you, warm baths and scented candles (lavender for relaxing, lemon for invigorating, ginger for calming, sandalwood for peace and inspiration) are other things you can do to alleviate the anxiety and move into a calmer, more clear state of being.
Clearing energy blocks through energy healing, QiGong, EFT, and other holistic modalities will bring harmony to your body. Maintaining energy flow will help you to stay in a harmonized state and help your body to heal naturally.
It’s hard to believe how quickly this past week went by. I put up my last post last Tuesday and whoosh, the week flew by. I went for Instructor Certification for Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa QiGong last weekend. A new web site just for QiGong will be up soon. Both sites will focus on energy flow. MetaTranspiration will be for the mental/emotional side of energy flow focusing on relief from chronic pain and stress using coaching. The new site will focus on the physical practice of energy flow.
At the very foundation of QiGong practice lies a Universal Law – can you guess what it is? I’ll give you a hint. It is also at the foundation of the Law of Attraction. Did you guess it?
It is the Law of Intent! Intention drives the flow of Qi through the body. Above all other requirements, there must be intent. Focused thought, directed concentration.
This is why there is such a close connection between the flow of universal life energy and the Law of Attraction. The same Universal Law is behind both. When you are IN THE FLOW, living your life’s purpose, you effortlessly fall into place in the overall universal plan. We were all born with a purpose, special talents, gifts. Just like cells in the body have unique purposes, yet all the cells in the body work together for the good of the whole body, we as individuals are like cells in the body of God (or the Universe), each cell having its own particular purpose, yet to the benefit of the whole being. When you are ON PURPOSE, everything you need will flow to you effortlessly (aka the Law of Attraction).
But, there is an even greater power behind the Law of Intent. The key to this power lies in these four letters YVHV.
Do you know what it is?
Read my next blog post to find out …. The Greatest Power in the Universe ….
I was going to write about a different topic today, but this one took form while the other didn’t. You might think this a strange topic for someone who coaches stress management but if you keep reading my blog posts, you will begin to see how the mind, body, spirit are all interconnected and all impact each other.
If you have stress – physical stress or emotional stress – you will manifest spiritual stress. You can have spiritual stress too, but most people do not recognize it as stress. I will be getting more into stress topics in the next few weeks, but first I think it important to lay a foundation. Actually, I am going right to the core of the matter. If you can circumvent or short circuit stress in the first place, it is a lot easier to clear the residual that a normal day creates. Having said all that, let’s get to today’s topic… PRAYER!
What is prayer?
Prayer is nothing more than concentrated thought supported by powerful emotion.
I came across the following quote recently, “You will find that everything which we hold in our consciousness for any length of time becomes impressed upon our subconsciousness and so becomes a pattern which the creative energy will wave into our life and environment. This is the secret of the wonderful power of prayer.” – Carlson Haanel Wattles Mentz, JD, MBA, PhD, How to Master Abundance and Prosperity…The Ancient Spiritual Keys to Success
James Ray says in his new book, Harmonic Wealth, “…you form the world with your intention and you hold it together with your attention.”
Prayer is a petition or communication sent out into the Universe. Usually, we pray for something we fervently desire. The Law of Attraction teaches that concentrated thought along with powerful visualization will manifest your desires. Visualization evokes emotion. When you focus on something with intense concentration and powerful emotion, you set in motion an inevitable law of creation.
When you do anything, be it prayer or a task, do it with all of your might – put your heart into it. Focus on it with intensity of mind. Then remember to Let Go and Accept BEing in the Moment and let all that you have created flow to you.
Let’s look at a biblical perspective for a moment. The Bible teaches that we should pray with heartfelt prayer. Why heartfelt? Heartfelt is strong emotion. Where do your strongest emotions come from? When you know something intuitively, you have a gut feeling. The center of your emotional being lies at the Solar Plexus Chakra. Have you ever noticed that when you feel intense negative emotion, you get an upset stomach? Emotional baggage gets stored in your body from this point (see www.metatranspiration.com to learn more about clearing your emotional baggage). The Solar Plexus Chakra is your emotional seat of power.
The lower dan tian corresponds to the physical center of gravity. It should be noted that the lower dan tian behind the navel is the seat of creation. Everything you can think, feel or desire comes from the very core of your being. The very center of our physical being houses our spiritual being. It is from here that we connect with universal energy. Energy flowing in through your Chakra centers coalesces in the lower dan tian. The lower dan tian supports our entire physical being.
There is a verse in the Bible that talks about renewing the inward man daily. We can renew our inward man through the exchange of life force energy with Universal energy. The body is a memory bank, a receptical of every experience you have ever had. Through our collective experiences, univeral energy has experiential knowledge. One of the easiest ways to renew your vital life force is through the daily practice of QiGong. There are other things you can do in just a few minutes a day that will help you renew your “inward man.”
This daily renewal process is essential, even vital, to relieving stress and even eliminating it. The physical body will always experience stress on a daily basis, but when you know how to short circuit it from the start and clear the daily residual, you can live a stress free life. You will experience health, vitality, joy and peace.
If something you desire isn’t made manifest immediately or your prayer isn’t answered, then understand that maybe it isn’t the right time or it doesn’t fit into your ultimate purpose. Timing is everything in the creation process; it is part of universal synchronicity. Universal synchronicity is when all things work together for the good of all. Focus on being open and aware of your ultimate purpose; as you do so, you will see all the things you need being brought to you effortlessly.
“People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.”
–Audrey Hepburn
