With Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanza all occurring around the same time of year, this is a time when Peace and Goodwill is often thought about and much talked about – and something some people actually do. This time of year actually has the ability to change a person’s heart – how they feel about something – because for a brief moment in time, their only focus is on doing something to help someone else – true unconditional love.
Have you ever taken the time to ask yourself what is PEACE? and What does it mean? How can one person make a change in the world that actually affects the lives of other people in a positive way?
Peace is a State of Being. It begins in the mind and then resonates out around you. If you change your mindset, you change what energy you emit. Peace, Joy and Unconditional Love are three of the highest energy vibrations. Like sound, energy resonates and entrains other energy flow patterns. Have you ever noticed how someone’s good mood ends up rubbing off on others? Or someone in a really bad mood brings in a flood of negative energy with them? That is simple energy entrainment.
A state of Peace will have the same effect on the people around you. This is one way you can spread Peace throughout the world. As each and everyone of us takes up the Peace mindset and holds that thought pattern every day, we can slowly begin to affect change in the world around us, in people’s mindset and attitude, because they will inherently want to reflect back the energy they are receiving. It’s a universal law, it just IS.
It is possible to remain in a Peaceful State of Being despite events that occur on a day-to-day basis. It lies in your mental attitude in how you decide to react and respond to those situations. Responding to a situation with a negative attitude is a learned behavior. And just as you learned how to respond negatively, you can change your response and learn how to respond positively. Many people don’t want to change. Change can feel difficult because it requires one to think differently, feel differently, respond differently, react differently. After all, status quo is easy; it doesn’t require any effort. But does anything that requires no effort really have any value at all?
Growth requires stretching and changing. If there is no growth, there is stagnation and death. So change is good and actually part of what we should be doing in the first place. Change is part of growing, and growing is an ongoing, never ending process. We were created to grow up into the fullness of the Source from which we were created. Just as a small child grows up to resemble his or her physical parents, we are to continue to grow spiritually to resemble our spiritual parents. What develops along the way is character. Your character is the only thing you can ever take with you anywhere – now in your present form and later in your spiritual form. You can’t take your car, your house, your money or any other physical possessions with you – but you can and do take your character. This is really your only true treasure. What is the quality and value of your character?
If you’re wondering how to move yourself into a Peaceful State of Being, you can start by looking at the examples of those who have already walked the path before you. One example is a remarkable woman by the name of Mildred Norman Ryder. Ms. Ryder became known as the Peace Pilgrim when in her mid-40’s she aligned with her purpose of being and spent the next 28 years of her life promoting Peace all across the USA. You can learn more about Ms. Ryder’s story at www.peacepilgrim.org. Here is a shining example of the affect just one person can have in the world. Each life is a like a pebble cast into the sea. As each cast pebble sends out ripples ever widening, always moving outwards though less perceptible with distance, each life has a ripple effect on every other life.
Two leaders in energy work have begun global peace programs. One is Masaru Emoto. Mr. Emoto has been doing work on energy and water crystals for over 20 years. In 2005, he started the Emoto Peace Project. Mr. Emoto’s work with water crystals shows that the most beautiful and perfect water crystals are formed when given the energy of unconditional love. These water crystals are perfect star tetrahedra and create metatron’s cube energy patterns. All of Mr. Emoto’s work is copyrighted and trademarked, please do not copy images.
On November 7, 2008, at the Alliance for a New Humanity Forum in Barcelona, Deepak Chopra announced to the 500 attendees of that conference that he had taken a vow for non-violence in thought, speech and action. This has since become a global movement. A goal was set to mobilize 100 million people to make a commitment of peaceful thought and nonviolence. If this resonates with you, go to http://www.itakethevow.com to learn more on how you can become a part of this global movement.
Every person ever born, has a mother, father, sister, brother, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins. Every person ever born breathes air to exist and has blood flowing their veins, if they get cut or injured, they bleed and hurt. Every person is really the same – and what happens to one, happens to all. Extend that around you to your environment – the plant kingdom, the animal kingdom, and even the insect kingdom. Everything that exists, even rock and air, has an effect on everything else that exists. Everything comes from energy and returns to energy, and no thing is any different from any other.
The next time an angry, irritable or harsh attitude starts to rise up in response to a situation, catch yourself and ask yourself does the situation really warrant any energy given to it at all? Step back from the situation and look at it as an observer. You will begin to see situations in a new light. It will become easier, little by little, to remain in a Peaceful State of Being.

I was struck the other day by this verse in the Tao Te Ching. It is very powerful in its simplicity and shows that there is Action in Inaction.
Tao Te Ching
by Lao-tzu
James Legge, Translator
(Sacred Books of the East, Vol 39) [1891]
A state may be ruled by (measures of) correction; weapons of
war may be used with crafty dexterity; (but) the kingdom is made one’s
own (only) by freedom from action and purpose.
How do I know that it is so? By these facts:–In the kingdom the
multiplication of prohibitive enactments increases the poverty of the
people; the more implements to add to their profit that the people
have, the greater disorder is there in the state and clan; the more
acts of crafty dexterity that men possess, the more do strange
contrivances appear; the more display there is of legislation, the
more thieves and robbers there are.
Therefore a sage has said, ‘I will do nothing (of purpose), and the
people will be transformed of themselves; I will be fond of keeping
still, and the people will of themselves become correct. I will take
no trouble about it, and the people will of themselves become rich; I
will manifest no ambition, and the people will of themselves attain to
the primitive simplicity.’
Here is a more modern interpolation by Peter Merel.
Do not control the people with laws,
Nor violence nor espionage,
But conquer them with inaction.
For:
The more morals and taboos there are,
The more cruelty afflicts people;
The more guns and knives there are,
The more factions divide people;
The more arts and skills there are,
The more change obsoletes people;
The more laws and taxes there are,
The more theft corrupts people.
Yet take no action, and the people nurture each other;
Make no laws, and the people deal fairly with each other;
Own no interest, and the people cooperate with each other;
Express no desire, and the people harmonize with each other.
Let’s look at the last 4 lines for a moment.
‘I will do nothing (of purpose), and the people will be transformed of themselves;
I will be fond of keeping still, and the people will of themselves become correct.
I will take no trouble about it, and the people will of themselves become rich;
I will manifest no ambition, and the people will of themselves attain to the primitive simplicity.’
Yet take no action, and the people nurture each other;
Make no laws, and the people deal fairly with each other;
Own no interest, and the people cooperate with each other;
Express no desire, and the people harmonize with each other.
When there is nothing to interfer with natural development, people grow into the fullness of the image of the source of creation – they transform themselves;
Where there are no laws made by man, natural universal laws guide how people interact with one another honestly, fairly, and uprightly;
When you practice the Law of Detachment, by not imposing your own ideas (taking no trouble) or forcing a solution (own no interest), the universal Law of Reciprocity is allowed to function fully. People helping and serving each other with their own unique skills and talents – everyone filling a need and a purpose – rich can be defined many ways. Monetary is a natural result. But the bigger riches comes in the satisfaction and contentment of just helping another person. There is no greater joy!
The result is harmony among all. Where all recognize that in the simple things there is profoundness. Inner peace and happiness doesn’t come from what one has accumulated or accomplished, but from how one has changed the life of another through simple little actions.
The way to Peace is not loud, it is not a wide road; it is a quiet, simple, meandering path called Life’s Journey.
Thoughts are energy. Thoughts take form. Thoughts become your reality. What are your thoughts and how are they affecting your life?
Are you growing spiritually? Are you growing closer to your Divine Purpose? Or are you stagnant, treading water or moving backward down a path of decay?
The Universal Law of Polarity states that there is growth and decay. You can’t tread water and hold a middle ground. No growth is the same as decay. You can only move forwards or go backwards. Where do you fit in? What do you want for your life?
I’d like to quote from Module 22 of How to Master Abundance and Prosperity…The Ancient Spiritual Keys to Success edited by Carlson Hannel Wattles Mentz, JD, MBA, PhD
“Generally, the various forms of inflammation, paralysis, nervousness and diseased conditions are the manifestation of fear, worry, care, anxiety, jealousy, hatred and similar thought. The life processes are carried on by two distinct methods; first, the taking up and making use of nutritive material necessary for constructing cells; second, breaking down and excreting the waste material.
All life is based upon these constructive and destructive activities, and as food, water and air are the only requisites necessary for the construction of cells, it would seem that the problem of prolonging life indefinitely would not be a very difficult one.
However strange it may seem, it is the second or destructive activity that is, with rare exception, the cause of all disease. The waste material accumulates and saturates the tissues, which causes autointoxication. This may be partial or general. In the first case, the disturbance will be local; in the second place, it will affect the whole system.”
So, you might be asking right about now, what does this have to do with your thoughts. Your thoughts control the constructive and destructive processes in your body. Stress and the rampage of effects made by the release of stress-related hormones fall into destructive activity. The waste aftermath of stress remains in your body until you release it. To heal your body, you need to control your thoughts and learn how to use your thoughts to move the waste materials through and out of your body and then use your thoughts to heal your body.
“You will find that everything which we hold in our consciousness for any length of time becomes impressed upon our subsconsciousness and so becomes a pattern which the creative energy will wave into our life and environment. This is the secret of the wonderful power of prayer….therefore, if we wish a change in conditions, all that is necessary is to change our thought; this will in turn change our mental attitude, which will in turn change our personality, which will in turn change the people, things and conditions, or the experiences with which we meet in life.” (module 21) (emphasis mine)
Your thoughts control everything in your world, in your conscious reality and your subconscious reality and manifestation. You will also come to learn that the thoughts of your mother, father, grandparents and other ancestors actually affect who you are; but you will also come to learn that you have the ability to change those affects wrought upon you by your forefathers, through the power of thought. [I am working on a special report that will give you more insight into this.]
“The problem, then, before us in the healing of disease is to increase the inflow and distribution of vital energy throughout the system, and this can only be done by eliminating thoughts of fear, worry, care, anxiety, jealousy, hatred, and every other destructive thought, which tend to tear down and destroy the nerves and glands which control the excretion and elimination of poisonous and waste matter.” (module 22) (emphasis mine)
I concur with this belief 100%; to heal the body, you have to increase the inflow – the amount flowing into you – and distribution, the flow of energy throughout your body, of vital energy – YOUR VERY LIFE FORCE ENERGY – throughout your entire body. This is done through thought primarily and accompanied by physical movement of Qi or Chakra through your body; but even the movement of Qi through your body is accomplished by Intention – that is thought, focused attention on your vital life energy, moving it through your body. The first and most important step emotionally (spiritually), physically, and mentally, in fact, you could call it the KEY is FORGIVENESS. If you cannot forgive 100%, you are still blocking the full effect of healing.
Hear what great teachers of the past have said about FORGIVENESS…
“Hearken therefore unto the supplications of thy servant…hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when you hearest, forgive…Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and render unto every man according to all his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou only knowest the hearts of the children of men)” 2 Chron 6:21, 30
“Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.” Ps 25:18
“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.” Ps 32:1
“For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.” Ps 86:5
“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;” Ps 103:3
“To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against him;” Dan 9:9
In forgiveness lies healing, even when you rebel against Source, against your Creator, or against the Universe, mercy and forgiveness are yours to claim. Remember, you come from that very spirit, that very energy, that very life force. You have all the Creator characteristics in you to claim; FORGIVENESS of others, forgiveness of yourself, forgiveness for yourself, is yours to claim as well, and with it comes healing.
One of the most destructive thoughts of man is the act of not forgiving oneself, second to that is not forgiving others. Source will always forgive, all you have to do is ASK to acknowledge to yourself that you are forgiven, because in fact, you are already forgiven.
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Matt 18: 21-22
Forgiveness is unmeasurable.
“Kind speech and forgiveness is better than charity followed by injury; and Allah is Self-sufficient, Forbearing.” The Koran, The Cow 2.263
“Shaitan threatens you with poverty and enjoins you to be niggardly, and Allah promises you forgiveness from Himself and abundance; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.” The Koran, The Cow 2.268
“The patient, and the truthful, and the obedient, and those who spend (benevolently) and those who ask forgiveness in the morning times.” The Koran, The Family of Imran 3.17
“And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah’s; He forgives whom He pleases and chastises whom He pleases; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” The Koran, The Family of Imran 3.129 (emphasis mine)
When you can’t forgive, you are not fulfilling your Divine Purpose. Your Divine Purpose is to grow into the fullness of the Creator, Source, Universal Energy from which you were derived. Just as you grow up to reflect your human father, your purpose is to grow up to reflect your Creator Father. This is the wonderful example of nature that is put before us to ever remind us that we are growing spiritual beings. We are not evolving. We are growing and growth involves change and maturing. Are you ready to step into your Divine Purpose? Embrace the characteristics of Source and make them your own. Forgive just as your Father would forgive, reflect the image from which you come.
Chapter 16 Decay and Renewal of the Tao Te Ching by Peter Merel
“Empty the self completely;
Embrace perfect peace.
The world will rise and move;
Watch it return to rest.
All the flourishing things
Will return to their source.This return is peaceful;
It is the flow of nature,
An eternal decay and renewal.
Accepting this brings enlightenment,
Ignoring this brings misery.
Who accepts nature’s flow becomes all-cherishing;
Being all-cherishing he becomes impartial;
Being impartial he becomes magnanimous;
Being magnanimous he becomes natural;
Being natural he becomes one with the Way;
Being one with the Way he becomes immortal:
Though his body will decay, the Way will not.”
Many belief systems have forgiveness as an integral part of faith and healing.
With Forgiveness comes Peace. When you are Peace, you can connect fully to Source. When you connect fully to Source, you experience healing emotionally, physically and spiritually.
To learn more about Forgiveness and how you can come to forgive others, I recommend Soul to Soul by Gary Zukav.
Begin practicing Forgiveness and begin your journey to whole body healing.
Bible quotes are from www.biblegateway.com King James Version
A number of weeks ago, I began a self experiment. The experiment is to stay in a continual state of peace by remaining in the gap throughout the day. I will have to say, it has not been as difficult as I first thought it might be. In addition, there has been a series of significant synchronicities that have appeared. I will share them with you.
First, let me back up a bit. You see, about a year ago, I was struggling with keeping my mind calm. This hadn’t really been a problem for me before. I always set aside time to just sit with no noise, usually outdoors if possible, a ride to the beach, somewhere quiet near running water, or just in a quiet space in the house.
Up until 2-1/2 years ago, this was pretty easy to do. Now, due to changes in the family, there is constant noise and distraction. The only quiet place is on the patio. As I now care for two people fairly full-time, getting away to those quiet places rarely happens.
But I was convinced there had to be a way to remain in peace amidst seeming chaos, or at least a constant bombardment of noise of some kind or other. I began doing more meditation. I read and used Wayne Dyer’s Getting in the Gap program. Then I began to meditate more on The Gap. In that space in between where we are most connected because we are open to universal energy, I wondered how would it be possible to stay there.
I asked myself where exists the biggest gap so that it is easy to stay there with little effort? Can you guess? Space has such vastness between matter – it is the biggest gap. So, I began imaging myself sitting in space – in the quiet, surrounded by quiet, openly connected to Source. So, in the moment, I try to hold the image of space continually in mind. Focusing on empty space has stopped the mind monkeys from the constant chatter and helped to block external noise.
I invite you to try this technique and share your experience in the comments section.
Why is peace so important in our daily lives? Well, one reason is that when we are in a state of peace, we are at our highest creativity. We are most receptive to what the universe sends to us. In this state of receptiveness, it is much easier to live on purpose, to BE on purpose, with no effort.
As I began BEING in a State of Peace, many things began coming my way. I learned of a remarkable woman by the name of Mildred Norman Ryder. You may know of her as the Peace Pilgrim. At the age of 44, Mildred found her purpose, her calling was to be a Pilgrim for Peace. For the next 28 years of her life, she lived this calling, she walked the walk and talked the talk. But her transformation didn’t occur overnight. Mildred had a spiritual journey that lasted for 15 years leading up to her “calling.” Mildred believed that the key to attaining inner peace was to overcome selfishness. This is true. Letting Go is the process of releasing self, becoming selfless. It is very much a spiritual journey. As Mildred progressed through her spiritual journey, she finally reached “inner peace” and found a way to remain there. It was at this point in time, that her Ambassadorship as Peace Pilgrim began. You can read Mildred’s story here www.peacepilgrim.org.
One of the things that has fascinated me over the years is that the fingerprint of the Creator is everywhere. Back in the early ‘90s when I was struggling with an overgrowth of systemic yeast, I tried blue-green algae. Algae is a superfood. Unless it is harvested from a clean source and processed properly, I do not recommend its use. One of the things that struck me at the time was that the nucleus of chlorophyll and the nucleus of hemoglobin are almost identical! The only difference is the center atom – in chlorophyll it is magnesium, in hemoglobin it is iron. But the most remarkable thing is that both are Star Tetrahedron. I call the Star Tetrahedron the fingerprint of God.
A tetrahedron is a four-sided pyramid. A Star Tetrahedron is a double tetrahedron, an octahedron. In its plane form, you would recognize it as the “Star of David”; in its spherical form, you would recognize it as the universal symbol of the atom.
As I began meditating more on the Star Tetrahedron, more synchronicities came my way. In particular, communication with one friend led to myriads of information coming my way. Two nights ago, I came across an article in the International Journal of Humanities and Peace, entitled Achieving Peace: A New Paradigm, Part II, (Tetrahedron and the Game).
Here was a direct connection to Peace and the tetrahedron. Yes, there is a connection between the two. One of the thoughts put forth by the author, Mark A. Siegmund, Ph.D., is that “achieving peace is a global…problem.” Why this problem prevails is because “global civilization, at its very core, believes and accepts that Nature’s design is based on scarcity – despite the scientific evidence manifesting this century, instructing us that, in fact, sufficiency, or plenitude, is the “normal” condition in Universe, and by extension, on earth.” (emphasis mine)
The lack that exists – or appears to exist, exists because it is what the majority have believed and manifested over time. In fact, lack doesn’t exist at all except in the temporal reality created within the mind of man. Remember that Albert Einstein had said, “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”
If everyone in the world would stop, take some time and look at nature, all you would see is abundance, abundance everywhere! There is abundant air. There is an abundance of water. Look at a piece of fruit or vegetable, there is an abundance of seeds to grow more food. From one comes many. Is the world ready to shift its thinking? I believe so.
In abundance, there is only abundant health. Our bodies were created with a regenerative function. They were designed to heal themselves. If given the proper environment and support, there would be abundant health and well-being.
This article also re-introduced me to someone whose life has fascinated me. His name is R. Buckminster Fuller. R. Buckminster Fuller had a unique perspective on the Universe. He believed that “the tetrahedron is a form of energy package,” that the Universe in all of its “definable structuring””is tetrahedrally coordinate in rational number increments of the tetrahedron.” In other words, our Universe is “defined” by the tetrahedron.
The tetrahedron is everywhere around us and within us. IT IS. Dr. Siegmund refers to it as “cosmic architecture.”
R. Buckminster Fuller was not only a great thinker and creator, he envisioned a world of peace. An early environmental activist, he was a proponent of alternative energy and efficient use of natural resources always to the greater purpose of world peace.
So, here I was back at PEACE and the TETRAHEDRON. The two things that have absorbed the majority of my thinking time these past few weeks.
“In our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.” –- Deepak Chopra
