A number of weeks ago, I began a self experiment. The experiment is to stay in a continual state of peace by remaining in the gap throughout the day. I will have to say, it has not been as difficult as I first thought it might be. In addition, there has been a series of significant synchronicities that have appeared. I will share them with you.

First, let me back up a bit. You see, about a year ago, I was struggling with keeping my mind calm. This hadn’t really been a problem for me before. I always set aside time to just sit with no noise, usually outdoors if possible, a ride to the beach, somewhere quiet near running water, or just in a quiet space in the house.

Up until 2-1/2 years ago, this was pretty easy to do.  Now, due to changes in the family, there is constant noise and distraction. The only quiet place is on the patio. As I now care for two people fairly full-time, getting away to those quiet places rarely happens.

But I was convinced there had to be a way to remain in peace amidst seeming chaos, or at least a constant bombardment of noise of some kind or other. I began doing more meditation. I read and used Wayne Dyer’s Getting in the Gap program. Then I began to meditate more on The Gap. In that space in between where we are most connected because we are open to universal energy, I wondered how would it be possible to stay there.

I asked myself where exists the biggest gap so that it is easy to stay there with little effort? Can you guess? Space has such vastness between matter – it is the biggest gap. So, I began imaging myself sitting in space – in the quiet, surrounded by quiet, openly connected to Source. So, in the moment, I try to hold the image of space continually in mind. Focusing on empty space has stopped the mind monkeys from the constant chatter and helped to block external noise.

I invite you to try this technique and share your experience in the comments section.

Why is peace so important in our daily lives? Well, one reason is that when we are in a state of peace, we are at our highest creativity. We are most receptive to what the universe sends to us. In this state of receptiveness, it is much easier to live on purpose, to BE on purpose, with no effort.

As I began BEING in a State of Peace, many things began coming my way. I learned of a remarkable woman by the name of Mildred Norman Ryder. You may know of her as the Peace Pilgrim. At the age of 44, Mildred found her purpose, her calling was to be a Pilgrim for Peace. For the next 28 years of her life, she lived this calling, she walked the walk and talked the talk. But her transformation didn’t occur overnight. Mildred had a spiritual journey that lasted for 15 years leading up to her “calling.” Mildred believed that the key to attaining inner peace was to overcome selfishness. This is true. Letting Go is the process of releasing self, becoming selfless. It is very much a spiritual journey. As Mildred progressed through her spiritual journey, she finally reached “inner peace” and found a way to remain there. It was at this point in time, that her Ambassadorship as Peace Pilgrim began. You can read Mildred’s story here www.peacepilgrim.org.

One of the things that has fascinated me over the years is that the fingerprint of the Creator is everywhere. Back in the early ‘90s when I was struggling with an overgrowth of systemic yeast, I tried blue-green algae. Algae is a superfood. Unless it is harvested from a clean source and processed properly, I do not recommend its use. One of the things that struck me at the time was that the nucleus of chlorophyll and the nucleus of hemoglobin are almost identical! The only difference is the center atom – in chlorophyll it is magnesium, in hemoglobin it is iron. But the most remarkable thing is that both are Star Tetrahedron. I call the Star Tetrahedron the fingerprint of God.

A tetrahedron is a four-sided pyramid. A Star Tetrahedron is a double tetrahedron, an octahedron. In its plane form, you would recognize it as the “Star of David”; in its spherical form, you would recognize it as the universal symbol of the atom.

As I began meditating more on the Star Tetrahedron, more synchronicities came my way. In particular, communication with one friend led to myriads of information coming my way. Two nights ago, I came across an article in the International Journal of Humanities and Peace, entitled Achieving Peace: A New Paradigm, Part II, (Tetrahedron and the Game).

Here was a direct connection to Peace and the tetrahedron. Yes, there is a connection between the two. One of the thoughts put forth by the author, Mark A. Siegmund, Ph.D., is that “achieving peace is a global…problem.” Why this problem prevails is because “global civilization, at its very core, believes and accepts that Nature’s design is based on scarcity – despite the scientific evidence manifesting this century, instructing us that, in fact, sufficiency, or plenitude, is the “normal” condition in Universe, and by extension, on earth.” (emphasis mine)

The lack that exists – or appears to exist, exists because it is what the majority have believed and manifested over time. In fact, lack doesn’t exist at all except in the temporal reality created within the mind of man. Remember that Albert Einstein had said, “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

If everyone in the world would stop, take some time and look at nature, all you would see is abundance, abundance everywhere! There is abundant air. There is an abundance of water. Look at a piece of fruit or vegetable, there is an abundance of seeds to grow more food. From one comes many. Is the world ready to shift its thinking? I believe so.

In abundance, there is only abundant health. Our bodies were created with a regenerative function. They were designed to heal themselves. If given the proper environment and support, there would be abundant health and well-being.

This article also re-introduced me to someone whose life has fascinated me. His name is R. Buckminster Fuller. R. Buckminster Fuller had a unique perspective on the Universe. He believed that “the tetrahedron is a form of energy package,” that the Universe in all of its “definable structuring””is tetrahedrally coordinate in rational number increments of the tetrahedron.” In other words, our Universe is “defined” by the tetrahedron.

The tetrahedron is everywhere around us and within us. IT IS. Dr. Siegmund refers to it as “cosmic architecture.”

R. Buckminster Fuller was not only a great thinker and creator, he envisioned a world of peace. An early environmental activist, he was a proponent of alternative energy and efficient use of natural resources always to the greater purpose of world peace.

So, here I was back at PEACE and the TETRAHEDRON. The two things that have absorbed the majority of my thinking time these past few weeks.

“In our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.”   –-   Deepak Chopra

A term often used when everything appears as needed on time, or many seeming coincidences, is synchronicity. I bring this up to place it in your conscious awareness. It also has bearing on today’s topic.

Can Inaction be an active action? It sounds like a contradiction. Usually inaction is associated with passive action which is the opposite of action. But there is also a time when Inaction can be active action. How so? Let us see…

While I was reading the Tao Te Ching the other day as I was working on my last Blog post, I came across something that I thought I was going to write about today. When I went back, I came across something else that wants to take precedence. Active Inaction.

You will often hear me talking of Letting Go to Get in the Flow. This Letting Go is actually active inaction. You are actively engaging in no action at all. You are letting go, ceasing to strive, no longer trying to control the outcome or the direction of your desire.

When I went back to re-read the Tao Te Ching on the other topic, I came across The Sayings of Lao-Tzu translated by Lionel Giles in 1905. Lao-Tzu wrote a whole chapter on the Doctrine of Inaction.

There were several things that struck me as I was reading. The first was that all things come to a state of perfection if left alone, no struggle, no striving, all things will flow together to create a perfect state.

“Who is there that can make muddy water clear? But if allowed to remain still, it will gradually become clear of itself.”

The action of inaction lies in remaining still. To be totally still of the mind and body takes Concentration and an exertion of the Will. We can Will our Mind and Body into a state of stillness. In doing so, we attain a state of peace.

“Attain complete vacuity, and sedulously preserve a state of repose.”

Peace and Joy are two of the highest vibratory states of being. Unfortunately, most people do not experience these emotions on a consistent basis. The world is on information overload. A constant bombardment of messages and noise. Televisions, radios, cell phones, the noise of traffic driving, and often the excess noise in our own heads. How do you clear all the noise in your head?

It is hard to focus or concentrate on a thought consistently when it is constantly interrupted by 100’s of other thoughts. We are taught that for the Law of Attraction to work, we need to clear our minds and focus on what it is we wish to attract into our lives. How successful are you at doing this? It is challenging for many people because there is no stillness in the mind. A still mind leads to a peaceful mind. In Letting Go, we can finally enter into the flow.

A still mind is also an essential component to stress relief. When your mind is constantly turning over 100s of aimless thoughts a day, it is creating stress on you emotionally which eventually leads to physical stress. Example, you’re driving along to work and the thoughts in your head are about all the activities you have to accomplish that day. If you have deadlines to meet, there is already stress manifesting itself. As you are thinking of this, you remember that you got a call last night to find out that a relative was just diagnosed with a terminal illness. Additional emotional stress. And as you are sitting there in your car, the action of just sitting with no physical release of stress is adding even more stress. Your heart rate goes up, your blood pressure goes up, your head starts to vaguely throb which eventually turns into a banging headache. Now your stomach is upset from the pain in your head…and so the cycle goes.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. When you learn to put your mind in a still place and have it remain there, all the stress disappears because it isn’t allowed to take shape in the first place. A peaceful mind, actively practicing active inaction, controls all those thoughts and leaves you to deal with your day calmly and effectively.

“Tao is eternally inactive, and yet it leaves nothing undone.”

Another thing that struck me as I was reading is that when we desire something, we usually strive to get it. We work hard. We make a plan. We set goals. We do all these things to get our desire. But what if we just LET GO?

“The simplicity of the Nameless Tao brings about an absence of desire. The absence of desire gives tranquility.”

In letting go of desire, we enter that place where all things can flow to us effortlessly. It is also the place where we are practicing gratitude for that which we already have and all that which will come to us. Everything we could ever desire already exists. I was reminded of the story of Tantalus, whenever he would reach for the fruit it would recede from his reach and, when he would bend to drink water, the water would recede away. The fruit and water were always within his reach except when he put forth his own effort to attain them. In letting go of desires, we attain a tranquil state of mind, a still mind, a peaceful mind. This is not to say that you can never want anything again. But in the wanting of something, let go of how it is going to come to you. Be still and watch as the universe brings to you all that you truly desire.

The third thing that struck me is related to the following quote,

“The softest things in the world override the hardest. That which has no substance enters where there is no crevice. Hence I know the advantage of inaction.

Conveying lessons without words, reaping profit without action,–there are few in the world who can attain to this!”

This relates directly to energy. There is Yin energy and Yang energy. Yin energy is soft yet it is the more powerful energy in the body. In energy work, we often are taught first about Yang energy, but Yin energy exerts more influence in the body. But this analogy is true in many other ways as well. In martial arts, the art of deflecting an opposing person’s energy is the soft approach rather than attacking head on.

“The softest things in the world override the hardest.” A soft, gentle, or encouraging word spoken yields many times more results than a harsh word. Harsh thoughts and harsh actions lead to stress. Examine your own reactions to situations to test this. Soft thoughts, encouraging thoughts lessen stress and tension and create peace and harmony.

There is a very strong connection between the breath of life within you, your vital life force, and stress which manifests many ways physically, emotionally and mentally. When we learn to let go of stress, we begin to heal ourselves. We also begin to reconnect with our spiritual origins.

So, I would encourage you to begin practicing ACTIVE INACTION. Your health, your mind, and your body will thank you. In addition, all those around you will see how differently you are handling things in your life. You will be more calm, more in control, and they will want to know how you did it.

The WILL TO BE.

I WILL BE THAT I WILL BE, often translated I AM THAT I AM. (Ex 3:14)

WILL BE, future tense, is considered the more correct translation, but why is this even important? I AM indicates passive action or inaction. The Universal Mind is not inactive. It is constantly active. The verb WILL BE is future progressive in action. There will always be action. Creation is on-going. The Universal Mind expresses itself through us.

“The Heavenly Reason strives not, but it is sure to conquer. It speaks not, but it is sure to respond. It summons not, but it comes of itself. It works patiently, but is sure in its designs.

Heaven’s net is vast, so vast. It is wide-meshed, but it loses nothing.” (Tao Te Ching 73)

This LAW is unequivocal. Without the WILL TO BE, none of us would exist. Should you cease to WILL TO BE today, you would not exist. Your arm, in and of itself, cannot move unless you WILL it to. Your feet remain stationary unless you WILL them to propel you forward. Your WILL determines your desires.

What is will power? According to Dictionary.com, it is the control of one’s impulses and actions, in other words self-control. American Heritage Dictionary says it is the strength of will to carry out one’s decisions, wishes or plans. http://dictionary.reference.com/cite.html?qh=willpower&ia=luna

WILL and EGO often get confused. Ego is the monkey mind. WILL is the essence of who you are. It is very important to understand this so you can LET GO and GET IN THE FLOW.

WILL is an essential component to Letting Go of Stress and Willing yourself TO BE healthy. Since you exist in a State of Being, YOU CAN LITERALLY WILL Yourself to be Healthy. The mind/body was created to heal itself. It’s not a mystery. It’s not hidden. It has always been there, out in the open. But it has been disguised and obscured from view by some who would want you to believe that you do not have a choice. You have already given over your Power of Being to them if you agree with them. You need to Take Back your Power. The Power lies within you. You were born with it. It is waiting to be awakened.

In Willing Yourself TO BE Healthy, you will align yourself with everything needed to create a healthy life. There is only health in the universe. Align yourself with universal energy and be aware of things coming into your life. You will be shown the way to Health and Vitality because it is inherent in you.

Many people hang on to the emotional baggage that makes them ill and creates dis-ease in the body. Why? Because they fear change. In fact, they fear an illusion. Albert Einstein once said, “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

Reality only exists in our mind. The reality we experience is what we have created for ourselves. Everything is energy. What appears solid isn’t really solid; the illusion of solidity is persistent enough that we convince ourselves to believe it.

Belief is to have confidence or faith in the truth. Confidence is full assurance. When you believe something, you don’t just think it is so, you KNOW it to be so. You KNOW it beyond any doubt. Fear and doubt walk hand-in-hand. To KNOW is to understand clearly with certainty.

The present reality is only an illusion that we have created in our mind. Believing Reality to be different and WILLING it to be so will create a new reality.

We can create whatever reality we want. Through the decisions we make or choose not to make, by what we allow and what power we allow others to have over us is our reality made. But it isn’t real. Matter is an illusion of energy. It is a perception. Change the perception and the reality changes.

When you WILL yourself to be healthy, you will begin drawing into your life everything you need to create that reality. To receive it, you need to LET GO of current inhibiting thoughts and feelings, remain aware of the present moment, and be receptive to what is brought to you.

Whether it be health, wealth, peace, abundance – the Universe is yours to co-create. Enjoy creating!

It’s hard to believe how quickly this past week went by. I put up my last post last Tuesday and whoosh, the week flew by. I went for Instructor Certification for Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa QiGong last weekend. A new web site just for QiGong will be up soon. Both sites will focus on energy flow. MetaTranspiration will be for the mental/emotional side of energy flow focusing on relief from chronic pain and stress using coaching. The new site will focus on the physical practice of energy flow.

At the very foundation of QiGong practice lies a Universal Law – can you guess what it is? I’ll give you a hint. It is also at the foundation of the Law of Attraction. Did you guess it?

It is the Law of Intent! Intention drives the flow of Qi through the body. Above all other requirements, there must be intent. Focused thought, directed concentration.

This is why there is such a close connection between the flow of universal life energy and the Law of Attraction. The same Universal Law is behind both. When you are IN THE FLOW, living your life’s purpose, you effortlessly fall into place in the overall universal plan. We were all born with a purpose, special talents, gifts. Just like cells in the body have unique purposes, yet all the cells in the body work together for the good of the whole body, we as individuals are like cells in the body of God (or the Universe), each cell having its own particular purpose, yet to the benefit of the whole being. When you are ON PURPOSE, everything you need will flow to you effortlessly (aka the Law of Attraction).

But, there is an even greater power behind the Law of Intent. The key to this power lies in these four letters YVHV.

Do you know what it is?

Read my next blog post to find out …. The Greatest Power in the Universe ….

I was going to write about a different topic today, but this one took form while the other didn’t. You might think this a strange topic for someone who coaches stress management but if you keep reading my blog posts, you will begin to see how the mind, body, spirit are all interconnected and all impact each other.

If you have stress – physical stress or emotional stress – you will manifest spiritual stress. You can have spiritual stress too, but most people do not recognize it as stress. I will be getting more into stress topics in the next few weeks, but first I think it important to lay a foundation. Actually, I am going right to the core of the matter. If you can circumvent or short circuit stress in the first place, it is a lot easier to clear the residual that a normal day creates. Having said all that, let’s get to today’s topic… PRAYER!

What is prayer?

Prayer is nothing more than concentrated thought supported by powerful emotion.

I came across the following quote recently, “You will find that everything which we hold in our consciousness for any length of time becomes impressed upon our subconsciousness and so becomes a pattern which the creative energy will wave into our life and environment. This is the secret of the wonderful power of prayer.” – Carlson Haanel Wattles Mentz, JD, MBA, PhD, How to Master Abundance and Prosperity…The Ancient Spiritual Keys to Success

James Ray says in his new book, Harmonic Wealth, “…you form the world with your intention and you hold it together with your attention.”

Prayer is a petition or communication sent out into the Universe. Usually, we pray for something we fervently desire. The Law of Attraction teaches that concentrated thought along with powerful visualization will manifest your desires. Visualization evokes emotion. When you focus on something with intense concentration and powerful emotion, you set in motion an inevitable law of creation.

When you do anything, be it prayer or a task, do it with all of your might – put your heart into it. Focus on it with intensity of mind. Then remember to Let Go and Accept BEing in the Moment and let all that you have created flow to you.

Let’s look at a biblical perspective for a moment. The Bible teaches that we should pray with heartfelt prayer. Why heartfelt? Heartfelt is strong emotion. Where do your strongest emotions come from? When you know something intuitively, you have a gut feeling. The center of your emotional being lies at the Solar Plexus Chakra. Have you ever noticed that when you feel intense negative emotion, you get an upset stomach? Emotional baggage gets stored in your body from this point (see www.metatranspiration.com to learn more about clearing your emotional baggage). The Solar Plexus Chakra is your emotional seat of power.

The lower dan tian corresponds to the physical center of gravity. It should be noted that the lower dan tian behind the navel is the seat of creation. Everything you can think, feel or desire comes from the very core of your being. The very center of our physical being houses our spiritual being. It is from here that we connect with universal energy. Energy flowing in through your Chakra centers coalesces in the lower dan tian. The lower dan tian supports our entire physical being.

There is a verse in the Bible that talks about renewing the inward man daily. We can renew our inward man through the exchange of life force energy with Universal energy. The body is a memory bank, a receptical of every experience you have ever had. Through our collective experiences, univeral energy has experiential knowledge. One of the easiest ways to renew your vital life force is through the daily practice of QiGong. There are other things you can do in just a few minutes a day that will help you renew your “inward man.”

This daily renewal process is essential, even vital, to relieving stress and even eliminating it. The physical body will always experience stress on a daily basis, but when you know how to short circuit it from the start and clear the daily residual, you can live a stress free life. You will experience health, vitality, joy and peace.

If something you desire isn’t made manifest immediately or your prayer isn’t answered, then understand that maybe it isn’t the right time or it doesn’t fit into your ultimate purpose. Timing is everything in the creation process; it is part of universal synchronicity. Universal synchronicity is when all things work together for the good of all. Focus on being open and aware of your ultimate purpose; as you do so, you will see all the things you need being brought to you effortlessly.

“People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.”
